26-27 Returning Student Registration

2026-2026 Returning Student Registration Reopens July 9th, 2026

Registration for returning LISD students for the 2026-2027 school year will be closed May 28th, 2026 – July 8th, 2026.

 

Due to the Districts migration to a new student data system, Skyward, returning student registration will be closed from Thursday, May 28th, 2026 through Wednesday, July 8th, 2026.  The last day to register your returning student throught the Ascender Parent Portal will be Wednesday, May 27th, 2026.  The Ascender Parent Portal link will close at this time to accomodate the transfer of data from Ascender to Skyward.  On Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, a parent email will be sent through Skyward with instructions to create a login and complete registration.  Returning Student Registration will re-open in Skyward on Thursday, July 9th, 2026.

 

Registration must be completed by a legal parent/guardian through Parent Portal and will require you to provide a current light bill as proof of residency.  A current light bill can be uploaded directly into your Parent Portal at the time of registration.  If you are unable to upload your current light bill to Parent Portal, you may also email it to your student’s campus registrar or drop it off at a drop-box at the front of your student’s campus.  Contact information for each campus registrar, including their email, will be listed below.  If you choose to drop off your current light bill in a drop-box, please be sure to write your student’s FIRST and LAST name, along with the name of the campus they will be attending, at the top of the page.  If you have multiple students attending the same campus, please list each student’s FIRST and LAST name.
