Sam Houston State University admissions representatives visit the Livingston High School campus to present each student in the LHS Class of 2026 with a $4,000 scholarship certificate!

The board recognized Mrs. Julie Martin, Mr. Dustin Andreas, and Meyah Escobedo as the February Lion LEADERS. This LISD program celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service within Livingston ISD.

Livingston High School Dual Credit students delivered the program to the members of the Rotary Club of Livingston. They shared experiences in their dual credit classes, which allowed them to simultaneously earn LHS and college credits. The students represented eight different pathways, including welding, teaching, health science, culinary, animal science, cosmetology, criminal justice, and academic.

Sixty-one students from Livingston Junior High were recognized during the February School Board Meeting for earning 72 first divisions at the UIL Solo and Ensemble competition held on February 6.

Continued progress of construction on the home side of Lion Stadium creates excitement among Lion fans! The expected completion date is August 2026.
