The three newest Lion LEADERS were congratulated during the April meeting of the LISD School Board. Community member Tara Ellis, LHS student Luisa Perez Montes, and LISD staff member Rebecca Carney.

State Champion Powerlifting Maddy Allen

Powerlifting State Champion Maddy Allen

Powerlifting State Champion Maddy Allen was recognized by the LISD Board of Trustees during the April meeting. She set the state record for total weight lifted in the 181-lb weight class at 1140 lbs.

CSE - spotlight campus

April Spotlight Campus was Creekside

The board enjoyed a musical preview of the upcoming May 8 CSE Talent Show. Emma Ramos shared a letter she wrote to the future 5th-grader, and Mrs. Clough’s 5th-grade class was the overall winner of a campus-wide math contest.
