LHS student Carmello Ivory, community member Sandy Gilbert, and LISD staff member Anisha Atkinson. This LISD program celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service within the district.

Pine Ridge Primary Spotlight Campus

The board enjoyed two musical numbers from the students of Pine Ridge Primary School during the March School Board meeting. Music teacher Mr. Hernandez led the singing Pre-K and Kindergarteners with “Deep in the Heart of Texas” and “You are my sunshine.”

Pine Ridge Primary students and two of our school board members were delighted today with a visit from The Creature Teacher. Students and teachers were able to pet Cleo, the Kangaroo, at the close of the presentation after seeing Batman the Chinchilla, a mongoose, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tiger Lilly the snake.

Sam Houston State University admissions representatives visit the Livingston High School campus to present each student in the LHS Class of 2026 with a $4,000 scholarship certificate!

LHS students present program to Rotary Club members

Livingston High School Dual Credit students delivered the program to the members of the Rotary Club of Livingston. They shared experiences in their dual credit classes, which allowed them to simultaneously earn LHS and college credits. The students represented eight different pathways, including welding, teaching, health science, culinary, animal science, cosmetology, criminal justice, and academic.
