The Livingston ISD School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) will hold the next meeting on April 23, 2026. The meeting will begin at 3:00 pm and will be held in the Professional Learning Center at the Livingston ISD Administration Building, located at 1412 South Houston. The meeting will include a presentation by Cambria Carter of Childrenz Haven to align with Child Abuse Awareness Month. Community members are welcome and parents of Livingston ISD students are encouraged to attend.

   The SHAC focuses on promoting an optimal level of wellness for the students and staff so that their learning and teaching abilities are maximized. The SHAC team consists of local administrators, parents, community members, school nurses, physical education teachers, and members of the LISD food service department, who all work together toward the common goal of student health.
