LISD Substitute Teachers require a two-part hiring process.

Part 1. Apply Online at the LISD website
Part 2. Attend Mandatory Substitute Training Class
2-3 hour training for the 2024-2025 School Year
Bring the following required documents to the training.
• Photo ID • Social Security Number •
• High School Diploma or Official Transcripts •

June 25, 2024 - 9:00 a.m.
September 10, 2024 – 1:00 pm.
September 24, 2024 - 9:00 a.m.
November 12, 2024 - 9:00 a.m.
February 25, 2025 - 9:00 a.m.
April 15, 2025 - 9:00 a.m.
